Hi , my name is Audrey Junnier . I am a qualified and registered (BANT, CNHC) Nutritional Therapist from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION) , where I studied for 4 years learning how nutrition can play a key factor in a person's health and wellbeing.
The Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION) regarded as one of the leading nutritional therapy organisations in the UK and previous graduates include Ian Marber (the Food Doctor) and Amelia Freer
Before becoming a nutritional therapist , I spent over 20 years in IT , working as a consultant , often away from home on projects with tight deadlines and budgets and limited food choices !
I have experienced first hand how changing what you eat can transform your physical and emotional wellbeing and want to help you experience these benefits too.
I am registered with BANT (British Association of Nutritional Therapists ) , the governing body for Nutritional Therapists and also with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council . The CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. CNHC's register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I have a relaxed style in my consultations and by no means am I a total saint about my own diet . I took a long time to change the way I eat and I fell short more times than I'd like to admit . So, I know from my own experience and working with clients that striving for perfection is no use and neither is trying to change too much too fast - that just sets you up to feel bad.
We agree the changes that you can handle and you dictate the pace . I have lots of ideas and options for bringing about change so that it is a positive thing ,not a chore . If you can take on a lot - then we can go for it and I can give you all the changes I think will help . If you have a lot of other things to deal with , we pick the key changes and build on those each time we meet
If what I suggest doesn't work for you , we will find a way that does . There is no one answer or one way. If you don't manage all the changes we agree , that's fine , we will just work out a different approach or pace to move you forward
